Hi, I’m Anna, a friendly and caring childminder providing a fun, safe and inclusive environment where every child can shine

​

I live in the beautiful seaside town of Weymouth with my husband  and our two Little Stars.

​

I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, giving the same learning and development opportunities as any nursery but in a calm and comfortable home setting where your child can feel settled and secure. Being amongst a smaller group of children means I can give more one to one attention, we are able to have shared mealtimes at the table and nap times can match your home routine wherever possible.

Development through the seven areas of learning is encouraged using child led play and exploration. I transform the area each term to reflect our topic. There is a warm, nurturing space for babies where our littlest stars can learn and grow, whilst the toddler playroom is a bright and exciting environment for little learners to explore.

I provide stimulating resources and activities for your child’s age and stage of development, such as arts and crafts, music making, singing, dancing, storytelling, dressing up, cooking, and lots of toys that support creativity and imagination. We can play outside all year round in a secure, enclosed garden with a patio, lawn and a covered decked area. There’s a swing, slide, pirate ship, mud kitchen, play house, sandpit, water wall, and selection of ride on toys. I also take the children on adventures such as outings to local gardens and parks, the library, farms, beaches, woods, soft play, the sea life centre and other local attractions and play groups.
