Our wooden alphabet boards are the perfect hands-on resource for your little ones. Your child can learn the letters of the alphabet and they can feel the shape of each of the letters using their finger or our tracing stick. We have designed our boards to be reversible so on one side its A-Z in uppercase and on the other side its the A-Z in lowercase. Our resources are based on the Montessori self-directed, hands-on approach to learning. Using our alphabet boards children will build up muscle memory in their hands for when they are ready to put pen to paper. By holding the tracing stick it will help them to develop their pencil grip.

Activities
There are many activities that you can do with your child to help them recognize the letters of the alphabet. They can recite the letters of the alphabet or make words by filling the letters with different small resources such as beads, felt balls, seeds or petals from flowers. You can encourage your child to find and fill each of the letters in their name. This will also help them become familiar with the shape each letter makes.

Our alphabet tracing boards are made from solid beech wood which has been planed to be completely smooth. This means that your child can handle their alphabet board without any worry of getting splinters from the wood. Our boards are then coated in a natural beeswax oil to help protect the wood. The wooden tracing stick is made from beech dowel and is designed to be similar to that of a pencil to help your child develop their pencil grip.
